This new year has started on a somber note for my family and I. My mother, who has been battling breast cancer for over a year and half, passed away on January 1st. Even though she has been ill for a long while now, this still feels too soon and unexpected. I cannot begin to list the many things I learned from my mother. She was a strong and courageous woman and I miss her. She taught me everything crafty that I know. She was always making something right up until a couple of weeks ago. Thanks Mom for all that you taught me. I am consoled in knowing that she is free of her disease and is vibrant and beautiful with our heavenly father. I love you Mom.

i know you dont know me but i do empathise with you when my dad passed after battling cancer it was a mixed feeling of pain of losing someone so dear and relief for him to be free of the pain, it is hard but slowly gets a bit easier, my thoughts are with you at this painful time. I hope you can smile with the memories of your mom.

My deepest sympathy to you and your family. You are so blessed to have a mother that spent so much time showing you many things in life. Praise God she is healthy now, and with Jesus.
